Really impressive work! Definitely going to check it out for our use case. Thank you for making such an effort to help the community :-). This is the reason OpenResty is a great platform.
In case some of the list's subscribers are interested in Cassandra's features but need higher performance, I strongly recommend checking out ScyllaDB. It's a highly compatible implementation (same cql protocol, same client libraries, same sstable file format, same management and administration tools, etc.) - but has well over 10x the performance and maintains this edge very consistently (see their results on the site. Absolutely impressive contrast to Cassandra's performance).
It was launched by some of the people behind the KVM project. Their team is great to work with.
Caveat: there are some features that still aren't supported (distributed counters and regular secondary indices for instance) - but they are definitely moving fast and building things out quickly.
